Job Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Inventory Lead, this position is responsible for coordinating the release of ready to do work to ensure required ship dates are met.  This position will also be required to locate and retrieve garments in the warehouse:  pulling, counting and delivering garments to production as needed.    

              50% of time spent will be scheduling,  50% of time spent will be pulling orders and other tasks assigned

                                                                 Hours:  Monday-Thursday 4 pm to 2 am

Essential Job Functions:   50% of the day is spent on the following tasks regarding scheduling:

  • Analyze work available summary to identify what areas need work, including running priority reports and assigning work to individual pullers to meet required delivery dates.
  • Work closely with either 1st shift scheduler and/or 2nd shift inventory lead communicating daily on scheduling needs and updates.
  • Follow standard scheduling processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
    • Release/updating orders based on truck shipments received or goods received from Doghouse.
    • Backorders; schedule what is ready (ATP check) or change dates and job class on garment issue orders. 
    • Analyze garment issues:
      • Incoming garment issues from pullers- check stock status, identify and address garment issue.
  • Work close with all departments regarding garments/orders (prioritizing orders for garments that are low/out of stock and BTS College Garments).
  • Attend daily puller meeting; give direction on order priorities for pulling in the meeting and throughout the shift as priorities might change.   
  • Answering phone calls and responding to e-mails

Essential Job Functions:   50% of the day is spent on following tasks:

  • Pulls garments for production teams
  • Receives truck shipments (loading and unloading of  inventory)
  • Stock shelves from truck shipments or from pallet rack (lifting boxes up to 50 pounds)
  • Follows the 6S: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain and Safety
  • Other duties as assigned including special projects

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required
  • Extensive computer knowledge; MS Office products: Excel, Access, Word, etc
  • Cannot be afraid of heights
  • Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs continuously
  • Must be able to be on your feet up to 8-10 hrs a day
  • Work well independently and as a team
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced working environment
  • High attention to detail- accuracy is required, must understand order form and be able to count
  • Must be self-directed & self-motivated
  • Fork lift experience preferred but not required
