Job Summary:


The Licensing & Royalty Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of the collegiate licensing and royalty processes for Blue 84. He or she is the champion of the licensing contract requirements, maintaining the royalty system with current information, and calculation and validation of royalty reports to submit royalty payments. He or she will work with the licensing agents, district sales manager, sales reps, customer service, and art staff on a daily basis regarding contract changes, compliance issues, & processes.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage licenses and royalties for 600+ colleges, bowls, NCAA, etc; including royalty rates, licensing contracts, customer distribution channels and retailer codes, and contract types
  • Research royalty requirements for new schools and sales streams
  • Complete applications for new school licenses desired
  • Monitor new designs setups to insure they are set up correctly
  • Run and validate royalty reports for monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting
  • Submit and pay royalties
  • Manage audits from licensing agents
  • Manage and complete requests for proposals (RFP)
  • Manage all aspects of contract printing for hot market to include: printers, sales people, billing, inventory, Authorized Manufacturers Agreements and setting up hot trucks for delivery purposes
  • Manage all prepaid and guaranteed royalty
  • Communicate with reps and customers pertaining to royalty issues
  • Communicate with artists, customer service and management pertaining to licensing changes
  • Maintain college division credits and receipts



  • Business-related degree preferred, but not required
  • Data mining experience a plus
  • Promotes process improvement, problem solver, pays attention to detail, ability to multi-task, excellent communication skills
  • Excel experience necessary, Excel will be tested
  • Fast-paced, changing environment
