THE OPPORTUNITY:

Under the direction of the Embroidery Lead, this position is responsible for efficiently delivering high quality patch production on blanks hats. High attention to detail and follow up are very important in this role. This position will also be picking hats from inventory for their patch jobs as well as performing quality control of each hat to ensure accuracy and overall quality to Wow our Customers.

Schedule: Monday-Friday (no weekends), 7am- 3:30 pm


A Typical Day (job functions) | Pick & Pack + Patch + Perfect

  • Operate small industrial table top patch machines
  • Pick and pack orders
  • Analyze orders to identify which patch machine to use
  • Understand the different patch applications and how to best utilize
  • Adjust temperature/time/pressure settings for appropriate orders
  • Use Teflon/Heat pad to prevent scorch/discoloration of hats
  • Quality control of hat once it's been pressed
  • Use of paperwork verification to ensure correct patch placement
  • Communicate with supervisor to verify quality and application of patch
  • Verify correct quantity of hats and styles BEFORE patching
  • Identify correct licensing label for NCAA hats
  • Maintain Zephyr acceptable standard of quality for each hat that is patched
  • Be able to navigate Zephyr database to troubleshoot artwork or order issues
  • Keep work area clean and safe
  • Organize work flow of orders being patched and completed
  • Work actively with other team members for large patch orders that need to ship same day
  • General warehouse duties

  • High School education preferred, but not required
  • Positive attitude and self-motivated
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Must be reliable, responsible and take direction well
  • Must be able to perform repetitive tasks for several hours
  • Ability to stand for 8-10 hours a day
  • Lift and move boxes up to 45 lbs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot
  • Must be able to follow written and verbal multi-step instructions
  • Basic math skills
  • Flexibility with changing assignments and work in fast paced setting = roll with the flow
  • Punctuality and dependability
