THE OPPORTUNITY:

Under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager, this position is responsible for answering and directing all incoming phone calls, greeting and assisting walk-in customers, providing clerical support to the Sales Department and working on assigned special projects. We're looking for a polite, courteous individual to provide professional service to everyone who calls in or visits our facility. Our ideal candidate is someone who wants to love their job and is capable of having fun performing it, while supporting the team in an effective and efficient manner, enabling them to produce high-quality results.

  Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p


A Typical Day (job functions) | Direct Calls + Field Questions + Order Support    

  • Promptly receives and directs calls using proper business phone etiquette
  • Greets customers, answers main line, checks messages
  • Fields and answers questions on order status; directs calls to sales reps
  • Mails invoices to select customers
  • Manages zhat.com email inquiries
  • Sends school orders out for approval, determining if formatting is needed
  • Other projects/duties as assigned

  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Exceptional phone etiquette skills required
  • Ability to navigate through multiple programs
  • Excellent computer aptitude; will complete typing assessment  
  • Proficient using technology, such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Ability to multi-task, problem solve and pay attention to detail
  • Independent decision making skills with reason and good judgment
  • Must be reliable, responsible, flexible and take direction well
  • Must be able to handle multiple interruptions and follow through
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral 
  • Welcoming of change; nimble and open-minded
  • Personable, friendly and dependable
