THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for friendly, reliable, positive, energetic, outgoing individuals to provide superior customer service to all our summer visitors. For real: we are looking for ALL of those attributes in order to truly WOW Our Customers by providing exceptional MN Nice customer service.

This is a seasonal position at the Lakeshirts Beach Shop, located on West Lake Drive in Detroit Lakes. Our Beach Shop will be open 7 days a week, from 10 am - 8 pm.

Must be available to work Weekends and Holidays.

A Typical Day (job functions) | Greet + Welcome + Provide Excellent Customer Service with a Smile

• Greet guests and provide a professional, courteous welcome from the minute they walk into our door
• Provide assistance in helping customers find the exact merchandise they're looking for
• Offer style advice and answer any questions guests may have
• Check guests out using our point-of-sale system and cash register, in a timely, friendly manner
• Opening and closing duties as assigned
• Re-stock or merchandise areas, as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Skills (qualifications) | Retail Experience + Outgoing + People Person + Shoot the Breeze

• Retail experience strongly preferred, but not required
• Outgoing, dynamic personality, able to carry on a conversation with anyone
• Superior communication skills with the ability to make guests feel welcome as they enter, shop and leave our store
• Detail-oriented with excellent computer skills
• Ability to work well in a team
• Must be reliable, responsible, flexible and take direction well
• Handle multiple interruptions and follow through
• Multi-tasking, attention to detail
• Independent decision-making skills with reason and good judgement

Schedule: varies, but applicants must have evening, weekend, and holiday availability
