In this fast-paced, front-facing role, you'll be a key resource for employees, supporting onboarding, answering day-to-day questions, and keeping office operations running smoothly. You'll play a vital part in helping team members feel welcomed, supported, and connected from day one.
This role is ideal for someone who loves solving problems, thrives on helping others, and brings a calm, organized presence to the team. You'll help drive HR processes, support internal communication, and be a culture champion through the work you do each day.

SCHEDULE Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (Onsite in Detroit Lakes, MN)
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS | Welcome + Coordinate + Communicate + Support
- Be the welcoming face (and voice!) of HR - greeting employees in person, online, by phone, or email with warmth, care, and a can-do attitude
- Help make day one feel like day one-thousand by prepping orientation packets, entering Workday details, and making sure systems are ready to go
- Jump in to support everyday HR requests with patience and positivity - whether it's a benefits question, a payroll update, or a "can you help me with Workday?"
- Field calls and emails from applicants, employees, and leaders, making sure every interaction is handled quickly, kindly, and thoroughly
- Double-check timecards and partner with leaders to keep payroll accurate and on track - because everyone loves payday
- Assist with employee and community events - booking spaces, organizing supplies, sending invites, drafting communications, and helping to ensure events run smoothly and stay memorable.
- Help celebrate our people by keeping recognition programs running strong
- Keep our HR newsletter flowing with info, updates, and a little heart and a lot of our core Values
- Keep employee records organized and up-to-date, digital and paper - because details matter
- Lend a hand wherever needed, from special projects to basic recruiting tasks to occasional payroll backup
- Bring your best every day - with confidentiality, accuracy, a positive attitude, and dependable follow-through
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS | Organized + Reliable + Communicative + Positive
- 1-2 years of HR administrative, or office support experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented
- Microsoft Office required; Workday/Google Suite a plus
- Friendly, proactive, and excited to be part of a fast-paced, people-first team
- Ability to multitask and independently manage shifting priorities
- Resourceful problem solver who thrives in a collaborative environment
